theviral.me ("we", "our", "us"), operated by Smritix AI LLP, is an AI-powered content and growth platform for creators and businesses. This policy explains what data we collect when you use theviral.me, including when you connect third-party social accounts (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account information: name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up.

Connected platform data:when you connect a social account via OAuth, we access and store data that platform's API makes available to us — profile info (username, display name, avatar, follower counts), your posts and their performance metrics (impressions, likes, comments, shares, reach, engagement rate), and, for Instagram specifically, comment content and commenter IDs on your own posts, solely to power the auto-reply feature described below.

Content you create: drafts, generated captions, and other content you create or generate using theviral.me.

Usage data: how you interact with the app, for the purpose of improving reliability and features.

We use the data above to:

• Show your analytics, top-performing content, and audience growth over time.
• Generate AI-driven insights, a "Creator DNA" profile, and content suggestions personalized to your connected accounts.
• Power the Instagram auto-reply feature: when enabled, we read the text of new comments on your Instagram posts, match them against keyword rules you define, and — only on a match — send the corresponding predefined message as a direct message to the commenter via Instagram's API. Comment content is used only for this keyword match and is not used for any other purpose, sold, or shared with third parties.
• Operate, maintain, and improve theviral.me, including debugging and security.

To generate insights, scores, and content suggestions, relevant post content and metrics are sent to third-party AI model providers (via OpenRouter) for processing. We do not use your data to train third-party foundation models; it is used only to generate the specific response returned to you.

We integrate with the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Meta (Instagram & Facebook Graph APIs) — for account connection, content publishing, analytics, and comment/DM auto-reply.
• X (Twitter) API — for account connection, publishing, and analytics.
• LinkedIn and YouTube APIs — for account connection and analytics, where connected.
• OpenRouter and underlying AI model providers — for AI-generated insights and content.
• Our authentication and infrastructure providers — for login and hosting.

We do not sell your personal data or your connected platform data. We share data only with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate theviral.me, and when required by law.

We retain your account and connected platform data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect a social account, we stop syncing new data from it; previously imported data is retained until you delete your account or request deletion as described below.

You can disconnect any connected platform at any time from the Platforms page, which revokes theviral.me's access to that account going forward. To request deletion of your account and all associated data — including any data imported from connected platforms — email smritix.ai.1@gmail.comfrom your account's email address. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.

Access tokens and account data are stored securely and are never exposed to other users. We limit access to production data to what is operationally necessary.

theviral.me is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
